One of our favorite hiking locations and HIGHLY recommended..! Specifically the Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon / Seven Sisters hikes.
Admission was $12 / adult but they did provide a nice first responder free admission, too..! Bathrooms with water stations were available and we had cell reception through most of the park.
Make sure you bring water - but the Trading Post has Gatorade or water if needs be for very reasonable prices..!
Must do in PSP!!
Tons of great trails from easy to difficult.
Lots of scenic vistas worth multiple visits.
The $7.00 seniors rate is also bonus.
Be sure to bring some water and wear sturdy shoes.
One of our favorite spots.
This is a must-visit for anyone visiting Palm Springs! The Indian Canyons are a beautiful oasis in the desert. There are several different trails to choose from, so you can find one that fits your fitness level. The views from the top of the canyons are so
Nice 👍🏻
WOW—some absolutely incredible hiking here. Take the trails and complete your journey walking through the Palm Canyon, a really unique feature that anyone will marvel at.
Privately owned nature park. Well paved but very narrow roads. $12 per adult ($7 seniors). Trails are maintained but not well marked. Trail map is confusing.
The hike from Murray canyon to the seven sisters' waterfall was stunning! Weaving in and out of an oasis in the desert is unlike anything I've ever experienced.
One thing to remember is to get wet often. It will keep you cool as you hike the desert terrain and make your way behind the waterfall. It is an amazing place to hang out.
I'll definitely be revisiting this place again and again.
The cost is $12 per PERSON, not per vehicle. You can purchase your ticket online very easily.
Very cool
As the ancestral home of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, these lands offer visitors a glimpse into the area’s indigenous past as well as a chance to get away from the everyday and connect with something deeper. Something spiritual. Something that can only be found in nature.
The Indian Canyons comprise Andreas Canyon, Murray Canyon and Palm Canyon, and each is a gateway to untapped outdoor adventure. Explore a network of trails that twist and turn beneath whispering palms. Travel up the rugged mountainside on horseback. Learn about the native flora and fauna on a ranger-led hike. Or find a quiet place to sit, relax and just meditate.
This location was a pleasant surprise for us. The location was filled with lush green trees in the middle of a dessert, and you also get to see a gentle stream of water in between the hiking path.
The hike itself is very easy if you just want to do a small loop.
